Sergi’s strict compliance with relevant Occupational Health and Safety legislation (OHS) means that every lift undertaken is done so with health and safety as the top priority. Sergi considers that fulfilling our obligations under OHS regulations equates to reducing risk and heightening workplace safety. Our duty of care to our workers and our clients is taken extremely seriously.

Sergi has voluntarily and enthusiastically embraced CraneSafe. The CraneSafe program aims to enhance existing safety standards with annual assessments of mobile cranes. Sergi is constantly looking at and implementing safer work measures. A safer workplace for our crew and safer worksites for our clients.

Workplace safety training of all Sergi employees is paramount, thereby ensuring that risks to your worksite are minimised. All Sergi plant operators have Certificates of Competency, issued by WorkSafe Victoria. OHS induction training is undertaken for all work sites. Site specific induction training also undertaken. Additionally, all of our plant operators undertake a Building Industry Health and Safety Induction (Red Card).

Sergi has a documented Safety Management Plan, covering hazard and risk assessment, safety management, incident reporting etc. Sergi also has documented procedures and policies regarding a range of lifting procedures, for instance, tower crane erections, multiple crane lifting of loads and standard lifts etc.

Our extensive fleet of 30 plus modern cranes allows Sergi to provide the correct and safest crane to meet your requirements. All cranes are maintained by in-house mechanics, fitters and painters who consider that safety of our machinery comes before all else. Our cranes are serviced and repaired to an impeccable standard to ensure a safety responsive method of operation. The Sergi maintenance fitters are on call 24 hours to service and maintain the fleet.
